Strasbourg & Colmar

Delicious supper.

That's a lot of windows to wash.

?

Zoo!

Out for dinner with Alex's friends.

After watching some French improv.

Dégustation on the route des vins.

Colmar was full of surprises. Here, petite Venise.

It's twinned with Princeton!

Frédéric Bartholdi was from Colmar, hence the mini Statue of Liberty.

Legends Bop

College dances in Oxford are called bops. Lincoln has one at the beginning and end of each term. The theme of this one was 20th century legends. Betsie and I went as Mary Kate & Ashley which was rather a cop-out but some people put a lot of effort into their costumes, as you can see...

Oscar is David Bowie; Dan is Andy Warhol.

Victoria, Kate (the EU), and Nadia.

YEAH!

ABBA (Sarah, Lauren, Jenny & Richard)

Will as one of several Thunderbirds,
which is some British tv show which I'm deprived for not knowing.

A Walk & Supper

Elementary, my dear cousin...

Houseboats along the canal.

The other side of Oxford...

Pigeons coo under the bridge in a rather frightening way.

Supper, although we're in the buttery rather than in hall.

Kate, Nevin and Hannah. Notice our lovely gowns.

I'm glad Betsie documents everything (this is Danny)
as it's the reason I'm suddenly posting a million photos.

Blenheim

daffodils!

Blenheim is the palace of the Spencer-Churchills.

Column of victory.

Photo-shoot.
Oh dear.

Dusk falls on the geese of Blenheim.

Crewdates

Crewdate with some college's track team...?

Crewdate with some Pembroke crew boys in
the Mitre, the restaurant beneath the building I live in.

Hanging out in the King's Arms.

Betsie rocking the British gents.

The survivors.

Betsie Visits
